Under-road boring creates a passage beneath roads, driveways and other existing surfaces for suitable pipes and conduits. It can be used for selected utility, water and drainage crossings where digging an open trench across the full surface would cause unnecessary disruption. By working below the surface, this method can help retain more of the roadway or accessway during installation.
